Alissa began her career in music at the age of three, performing Donny and Marie?s greatest hits atop a sofa cushion in the family living room for her long-suffering parents.  Though her days in the spotlight are over, she is still an enthusiast of all genres of music, and has supported the local music scene wherever she has lived:  Minneapolis, Chicago, San Francisco, and now Des Moines.  Alissa has a degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota, and a background in broadcast production and advertising.  She is also a contributor to Art Beacon Des Moines.
